A Chocolate Christmas in Temple Bar

Chocolate, Seacláid, Chocolat, Cioccolata, Schokolade…..mmmm, sounds delicious in any language! If you’re a chocolate lover of any kind and in Dublin then this is the event to get yourself to.

This December, the Temple Bar Cultural Trust have organised a weekend long tasty treat for all of the chocolate lovers in town to get them in that extra special Christmasy mood.

On December 3rd – 5th, Temple Bar will be host to Temple Bar Cultural Trust’s annual Chocolate Festival, ‘A Chocolate Christmas in Temple Bar‘. Presenting a range of events from chocolatey themed films and workshops to some tasty street performances. Having the opportunity to snuggle up with a steaming cup of hot chocolate and outdoor screenings of ‘The Polar Express’ and ‘A Wonderful Life’ to grabbing a chocolate sundae made by ten of Ireland’s top chocolate artisan producers in Meeting House Square. Sounds like heaven!

For the panto lover, you can jump onboard the Liffey Cruise and enjoy a live show or listen to a very special Christmas Carol in Meeting House Square.

With events happening for all ages, from kids to adults, you can pick up some yummy treats for the Chrimbo or just entertain yourself with a chocolate themed workshop whilst having a good munch on some treats.

I would give anything to be at home for this chocolate extravangaza although with having my sister just recently start work with The Temple Bar Cultural Trust I just know there will be plenty of chocolatey goodness floating around the house this Christmas….can’t wait!

So, it you’re in Dublin on December 3rd-5th make sure you head over to Temple Bar and check out all of the delicious chocolatey yummyness on offer 😀
